Blockage Update

This is the first time I write after my blog was blocked two days ago. I want to thank all those who expressed their support, and special thanks go to those who made it clear that even though they might disagree with me but they support my right to speak and express myself, which is also their right.

Some people have asked about the role SaudiBlogs.org can play in such case, so I want to assure you that it has a lot to do. But meanwhile, I’m trying to cotact with ISU directly in order to find out the reasons behind the blockage and the possibilty of unblocking. If that did not work out, SaudiBlogs.org will be in the heart of a big lobbying effort to left the ban.

For now, one easy method to access Saudi Jeans, as well as any other blocked blogs in the blogspot domain, is to use this website. It is clean, easy-to-use, and very fast that you won’t feel any difference.

Blocked

I was offline for a couple of days for some reasons I will explain later, but when I tried to log on to my blog to read the comments this morning I found that it was blocked. Yes, ISU have blocked Saudi Jeans. I guess they wanted to answer my question when I asked: “who’s next?” Anyways, I will be out of town today, and I’m leaving now, so I will see what can I do when I comeback later. Meanwhile, please fill this unblocking request form. Thanks, I appreciate it.

Some young Emarati guys are starting a service to provide a purely web-based printing solutions for photos. I’m happy to see young people from the gulf step in the web apps business, and who knows? They might be onto something big. It is still early to know if they are going to make it or not, but I really wish them all the best, and I hope to see more ideas come into reality from the region. Check out their blog.
