Click Away! After less than ten months, the government has finally lifted the ban on photography in public areas. Permission is still needed to photograph private property, including royal palaces.

Opps, I have photos which I took in Saudi public places dating back 20 yrs ago.

Ahmed, I wish I knew about your blog site 5 years ago… I have literally dozens of photos taken in public (Riyadh, Buraidah, Unayzah, Al Hayar, Muzamiyah, and Al-Kharj) between 1978 and 1980. Unfortunately, I have placed them in long-term storage with my furniture and other valuables in Canada, when I moved to work in the USA… otherwise I would have scanned and e-mailed them to you. Now I really miss those photos… I wish I had brought them here when I moved.
