I was directed to your blog by a Muslim friend I met while promoting my book. After living in the Middle East and now settled on a quiet island in Canada, I have finally begun to live my passion–writing!

I am not sure of the best way to get information to you but I thought I would try email first and take your suggestions. Funny, I also talk about my tongue getting bruised while in Saudi.

I have self-published my narrative non-fiction book, Circles in the Sand, and would love to get it into the hands of women hoping for freedom and liberation. It is my very personal journey, connecting my own emptiness to that of the deserts of Arabia–until I found my oasis. Because I have lived in many parts of Arabia, I believe in my heart of hearts that this book will touch many, many women. So far, those who have read it have wept tears of sorrow and gratitude, saying they are so thankful that I have become a voice for those of us who still cannot speak up.

I wanted you to see my web site and have a look at the book excerpts and reviews and hopefully, we could somehow get Circles in the Sand into the hands and hearts of those women who would find inspiration and strength.

It is a very personal journey as well and it was only when women told me that it was also their story in many ways did I feel safe to be able to stand strong and say, “This is who I am.” I believe if I can touch one person, I can touch one million….

I look forward to hearing from you! I hope your heart is moved by my web site and reviews. Insha’allah, this may be the beginning of making women around the world that much closer together…. in self-love and self-worth!
