Don Norman says, “Is Google simple? No. Google is deceptive. It hides all the complexity by simply showing one search box on the main page.” Well, I don’t think Google is deceptive. I think they emphasize on what they do best, which is search. Don’t get me wrong, I use most of Google’s other services (Gmail, Reader, etc.), but for most people Google simply means search, and if they decided to show all of their other services on the homepage like MSN or Yahoo! they will lose this feature.
