Ghassan al-Imam seems to have some problems with Shiites. He thinks that Shiites deep down are Persian not Arabs. I’m sorry Mr. Al-Imam, but you are seeing the whole issue in the wrong way. In fact, people like you are making Shiites Arabs look toward Iran instead of their Arab neighbors. You are looking at them in suspicious and you don’t trust them, so don’t expect them to trust you.

This is like saying that Muslims are not Arabs! Of course they are not. Millions of Muslims are not Arabs! So what aren’t they Muslims? Why do they have to look at Arabs? Islam is a religion, which claims universality, and Arabs are just a nation and a language. Why do you even expect that all Muslims should be Arabs? 200,000,000 Muslims of Indonesia, more than 250 million in India, 100 million in Pakistan, 75 million in Iran, so many millions in Afghanistan, in all other places in the world, they are not Arabs. Sorry guys. Shia Muslims, like the rest of Muslims could be Arab or non-Arab? You don’t like it? Try to divorce them!!! In the same way not all Arabs are Muslims either.
