Saudi Gazette has a nice compilation of architectural and historical places to see in Saudi Arabia. I have been to some places on the list in my hometown such as Jawatha Mosque and Ibrahim Castle. Around this time last year, I had a visit to Gara Mountain (aka Qara), and took some nice pictures.
