Saud al-Balawi thinks that our Saudi idea of privacy, “which is really a form of isolation,” is one of the problems behind banning cinema theaters in Saudi Arabia. This is true, but I think the domination of the extremists on many aspects of life in the country is the main problem. We let them to control our lives in the past, but we should not allow them to enjoy that for any longer.

I hope that more people who feel the way you do can join together and prevent the extremists from ruling.
There is no reason why the people of Saudi Arabia shouldn’t be granted more freedoms.
I totally disagree that it has anything to do with privacy. If that were the case no saudi would go out of the house in public view. The only difference in a movie is your sitting watching a movie. Instead of sitting at a table eating, or walking in store shopping.
I agree its the extremists and their perverted minds who think that Saudi men are some raging sex feinds out to attack any woman in a theater and all saudi girls are sluts looking to get it on at any opportunity.
