I’m listening to the Turkish singer Tarkan. Even though I don’t understand a word of what he’s saying, but I’m loving the music. There is something about Turkish music that makes it irresistible to me. I don’t know, is it because it is close somehow to Arabic music? Or is it something else? I really like it.

I think I have the same passion for Turkish music, probably mainly because it is similar to Arabic music. Remember that both use same musical scales and share same originality and rhythms. I tend to listen more to classical singers, Tatlises for instance, than to those with more modern taste or the so-called new pop singers such as Tarkan.

Thank you, Prom. I think you are right, but because I’m not a big fan of classical music, I prefer to listen to Tarkan and some other new singers that I don’t know their names, but they also make good music.
hi Ahmad : i can understand that ..i have the same feeling and interest when i listen 2 indian songs ..but although i dont stand them ..i try 2 search for these songs lyrics translation ..u can do that with ur favorite turkish songs :)
