What an inaccurate post – “created” the mujahideen? I can accept “assisted” even “strengthened the capabilities of during the anti-Soviet Afghan war” — but “created”? Give me a break! They were there, tactically there was no other realistic alternative to oppose the USSR’s march to a warm water port through Afghanistan. You seem to want to detract from the mujahid, refrain from crediting them with opposing the Soviet invasion…
