HELP!

I’m not posting these days because I’m having a design crisis. I thought that I would be able to solve it myself, but I tried and failed, and now I give up. For all of you HTML/CSS experts out there: Please, help me!

I used to have the red “@” sign, which is the permalink, at the beginning of every post, but few days ago, the “@” sign started to appear on a separate line for no obvious reasons. I tried to play with the could in order to find a solution to this weird behavior but I failed. So please, if you have any idea how can solve this, leave a comment here or send me an email on the address at the bottom of this page.

Here is a little thing I experienced during my unsuccessful attempts to solve this. I used to have just a space between the “” tag and “” tag. But now, when I view the code I noticed that there is a new element between the two tags. There is this line of code: (div style="clear: both;">) (sorry, it’s not complete, Blogger won’t allow it in the Creat Post form!) and I’m not exactly sure how it appeared just like that. Is it added by the Blogger system itself? I don’t know. All I know is, I need help. Please, help me!

  1. Ahmed, Can’t you take that div tag out of your template code? Because that’s what’s causing the problem.

  2. hi, i was going to say the same thing, maybe it is the “div” thing that is giving you trouble. div means division and so when you have that you get a new division. If that doesn’t work, then you can kill me for giving bad advice! lol!

  3. I can’t take it out because it is not in the template code, but it appears when I view the source of the page or save it on my hard drive. It’s a really weird thing.

  4. Hmmm, well that’s really weird.

If you replace the space between your @ and the beginning of the text by a   or delete it, do you still get the same result?

  5. Yeah. But I just found out that this problem is a result of the new upload images feature by Blogger. I sent them an email and I’m still waiting for their reply.
