Jihad al-Khazin, one of my favourite columnists in the Arab World, has written a column about blogs and bloggers. The column seems to be the first part of a series. He writes about the history of blogging, and about some of the seminal bloggers such as Matt Drudge. However, he makes the usual mistake that Arab media made several times before saying there is no Arabic translation for the word “blog.” I won’t go in that again because I talked about it before. I’m still waiting to read the rest of the series, and I’ll tell you what I think about it later.
