Al-Hayat could be the only Arabic newspaper which pays some attention to blogs and Arab bloggers. Here is an interview with Ethan Zuckerman, who works with the Berkman Center for Internet and Society at Harvard Law School. I’m on a hurry now, so I’ll try to comment on this subject later.

I would be very grateful if you could give me a basic summary of what the article says – unfortunately, I cannot read Arabic. I spoke to my friend Amina Khairy in Cairo a few weeks back – I’m guessing that our conversation turned into this article, but don’t know what the article is about! Thanks in advance – Ethan Zuckerman (ethanz AT gmail DOT com)
I will try.
Thanks so much, Ahmed, for the translation. I’ve posted about the article on my blog at http://blogs.law.harvard.edu/ethan/2005/01/31#a745 .
Best regards and thanks again.
