Cover Your Face Woman, Again

I was quite sure that the writer of “Cover Your Face Woman!” would receive some reactions from people saying that everything he said was untrue. In this week’s article, the writer continues to introduce us to some new surprises.

The employees of the Grand Mosque will not only shout on women to cover their faces, but they also will be ready to hit any woman who will not be ready to do that immediately! “As shocking as it is, it did happen,” the writer said.

The last three paragraphs state some facts that some people here cannot understand. The “respecting a person’s freedom to choose” concept does not exist in those people’s minds, and I don’t think they will be able to understand it any time soon.

  1. re: Covering Up

This is Tribal Custom in some regions to protect women from bandits kidnapping them. In some isolated areas of the outback, there are no policemen to protect people and lawless bandits may be roaming around and may wish to steal livestock, camels, and even women. Sometimes, also, women choose to cover up when entering a city in order to avoid being pinched or molested.

  2. Continuing from above comment because I was tired last night when I wrote it…

The safety monitor seems to have believed that it was very crowded there that day and was possibly concerned about the guys we sometimes call “Chester the Molester.” In a very crowded environment, perverted guys sometimes take advantage by rubbing their bodies against women or pinching them or in some way bothering them. This can happen on a crowded subway or metro train, too. He was probably trying to protect the women from this. I believe the safety monitors are also supposed to help prevent stampedes.

  3. But how would a woman covering her face help her avoid being pinched by a man? He still knows she’s female because she’s all covered up! It seeems to me that the pinchers should be tossed out of the mosque, rather than the woman being forced to cover themselves up even more.
