I wrote about Saudi women driving cars abroad last month, well, not anymore. The Traffic Department has issued a law forbidding the issue of international driving licenses to all women in the Kingdom.

So what’s the reason it is forbidden? I truly cannot imagine this at all..I can’t imagine being forbidden to drive.

I can’t see any reason. Women are not allowed to drive here and it seems that the government could not stand that Saudi women were driving cars abroad, so they decided to forbid them from driving anywhere!
It is one things to deny women the right to drive in their own country (horribly wrong of course). But now they are trying to prevent their women from driving in other nations? This is horrible. What kind of idiot came up with this idea?
The same idiot who said women cannot drive in the first place.
