My friend Anthony from the States says he is sick of politics in his country. What can I say! C’mon Anthony, if you are saying this about a country that calls itself “The Leader of the Free World,” what should I say about most of the political systems here in the Middle East?
I can understand your frustration, but if politics in your country sickens you, I must be dead by now!

Sentiments: well sure Middle east politics r messed up but USA politics (which btw have huge effect on middle east politics) is the worse….i hate USA politics, they think they own the world and they just play around with us!

It seems like politics is bad everywhere.
Well, as you know, I am sick of the ways these large corporations run everything. Believe me when I say I know that things aren’t too bad here. I imagine that things are much worse in the middle east. I just think it is a shame that in this country where there is so much lip-service paid to ideas of “freedom” and “democracy” that things can be so corrupted.
I do believe that politics everywhere are in a bad shape. And I really do believe that money is typically the overwhelming corrupter.
Politics and money. Money and politics. It’s a dangerous mixture. Saty away, people! (…and by people I mean Anthony ;))
