For you who loved the Falafel King game, here’s another flash game that challenges you to throw balls of papers into a wastepaper basket. This game was originally made by the BBC to promote their comedy series The Office. I hope you like it.

Back to School
I want you to know that I’ll be back to school on Saturday, so I’m not going to keep on blogging on the same regular semi-daily basis the way I was doing in the past two months.
The blogging time will be on the weekends [Wednesdays, Thursdays]. Not because I’ll be all busy with studying in the middle of the week or anything, but mainly because there is no Internet connection in my place in Riyadh.
I will try to work on this Internet connection thing, but meanwhile, I may be able to post some stuff during the week days if I had the chance to do so. I still cannot understand why the university is not providing the students dorm with Internet connection!
It was Good While it Lasted
I wrote about Saudi women driving cars abroad last month, well, not anymore. The Traffic Department has issued a law forbidding the issue of international driving licenses to all women in the Kingdom.
Satan Academy
Now I know not only mobile phones had given nicknames by Saudis, TV shows got their nicknames too! I know that a lot of people in Arab World were scared of this whole “Reality TV” thing, but I never thought this is going this far.
The Islamists in Saudi Arabia decided to call Star Academy, the reality TV show broadcasted by LBC, the Satan Academy. Why? Because they think this TV show was made by the evil West to make Muslims give up their religion and their ethics!
I know this is just ridiculous, but the problem is that there are thousands of people here who believe this crap. A young man told Asharq Al-Awsat that he is sure that this reality TV shows are part of a Zionist conspiracy since 1935! Other Islamists even say that this TV show is the reason of the terrorist attacks!
That’s the problem with Islamists here. They always try to make people believe that there are some conspiracy against Islam and that ever freaking little thing is a threat to them. I wish they could leave Islam to defend itself and take some time to treat their sick minds.
He’s Sick!
My friend Anthony from the States says he is sick of politics in his country. What can I say! C’mon Anthony, if you are saying this about a country that calls itself “The Leader of the Free World,” what should I say about most of the political systems here in the Middle East?
I can understand your frustration, but if politics in your country sickens you, I must be dead by now!
Iranian Rap
I can’t imagine Iranians singing rap, but it’s true. Anyway, don’t expect anything like 2Pac; it’s really different around here.
No Saudi Jeans
The most freaking stupid thing just happened today.
Yesterday, my dad went to the hospital to have more investigations on his epigastritis and when I went to visit him in the hospital few hours ago, the security guy refused to let me in. “You can’t go in because you are wearing this” he told me. I was so surprised because I wasn’t wearing anything special; just a pair of jeans and a t-shirt.
I could not do anything. I told my aunt who went with me to go to see my dad while I waited for her outside asking myself who is that retarded who decides that you can’t enter a hospital if you are not wearing a thobe* (a long white robe Saudis wear)?
The f**cking weird thing is that I spent half of my day in the hospital yesterday in the same clothes and no one told me that I’m not allowed to wear such a thing inside the hospital. The other f**cking stupid thing is that almost nobody in the hospital wears thobe! The doctors, the nurses, even the security guy can’t wear a thobe!
What’s wrong with these people? Do they really think that someone is more patriotic than others just because of the shit he’s wearing? Who told you that you can’t judge people from the way they look? People here actually do this and they do it shamelessly.
* if you had no idea what a thobe is, here’s a picture.
