I don’t know how the Saudi Arabian Football Federation is exactly working. The SAFF has decided to suspend Mohammed Nour, who was sent off twice in the last Gulf Cup, to the end of the season.

Yesterday, the Crown Prince met Al-Ittihad football team to congratulate them as they won the AFC Champions League last year. He asked why Nour is suspended, and they told him that Nour got two red cards during the Gulf Cup. “And I will give him a third ‘white’ card,” the Crown Prince said.

The SAFF said that due to the Crown Prince’s blurry expression, Nour is no longer suspended! This is a major problem here. Why most people cannot understand that professional decisions must be totally independent from personal relationships. We all respect the Crown Prince, but Nour made a mistake and he deserved to be punished.

I guess this is the only country where spammers are allowed to publish ads in the newspapers. Look for such thing in the printed edition of al-Hayat newspaper today.
