Is there any chance the Arabic edition of Newsweek will change their website from just a list of crappy PDFs to a normal website, where people can actually read the content of the magazine?

In the last part of his series on blogs and bloggers, Jihad al-Khazin pays more attention to Arab bloggers, and guess what, he comes to mention Saudi Jeans as an example for blogs from the country where the most active internet users in the Arab World live. Well, he misspelled the name of Saudi Jeans. He wrote “Saud Jeans“. Let me only hope that Google will understand what people mean when they search for that, because usually it does ;-)

This story on BBC says that cassette tapes do not have long left, “at least in the West.” However, this is a little bit different in other parts of the world, such as Saudi Arabia, where cassettes account for 70% of music sales. Even though the sound qulaity of CDs is much better, I still prefer to get cassettes to listen to in my car. I don’t know exactly, but something about those audio tapes feels different and special. Probably it is the memories attached to the tapes that makes me still want to own more of these.
